In December, Scott Tingle, who in 2015 completed The Executive Program, Darden Executive Education's flagship program for senior leaders, will travel to Baikonur, Kazakhstan to fulfill a lifelong dream: space travel.
Companies today face an unprecedented rate of change, and their senior leaders must be agile decision-makers and global strategists who steer their organizations through volatility to drive growth. To meet these ever-evolving needs, Darden is refreshing our flagship senior leadership experience, The Executive Program (TEP) for 2018, extending the program to four weeks from 3-29 June 2018.
Darden Executive Education recently partnered with Aluminum Bahrain (Alba), a manufacturing organization in the Middle East to develop a custom program titled, The Alba Next Generation Leadership Program. This was a unique opportunity to work with one of the largest aluminum smelters in the world.
At the very moment the world's eyes are on Washington D.C., our flagship course, The Executive Program (TEP), will be hosting a residency in the Washington, D.C, area. The program will provide an opportunity for participants to connect directly with global thought leaders and policymakers on subjects including trade policy, immigration policy, global markets, cybersecurity and more.
We recently completed the second module of the two-part Global Strategy and Leadership Program that Darden developed in partnership with the Indian School of Business (ISB). The first module featured a five-day strategy course hosted by ISB in Hyderabad, India. The second module, hosted by Darden in Charlottesville, included a bridging session for the participants, who then joined with an additional cohort for our True Leadership program (recently renamed as Purpose Driven Leadership). Participants agreed that being part of the multicultural cohort enriched their experience and provided unique insights into the challenges and opportunities for organizations around the world.
